Moses spent 40 years in the desert before he took on Pharoah. Elijah spent time in the wilderness after being threatened by Jezebel. Jesus spent 40 days in the wilderness before starting his ministry. God’s voice is louder, fuller, clearer in the expanse of the wilderness.
